DIY Antique lock

Hello everyone today am sharing a DIY antique lock ..you can make own antique locks.. i used my old favorite M-seal (Epoxy clay) for the lock.. :)

Here is the tutorial for the antique lock with pictures.. :)
you need a lock ,M-seal,Clear stamp, pen n needle for the impressions..

Mix the 2 parts of m-seal in equal quantity use talcum powder so that it doesn't stick to hands when mixing .. cover the upper part with the m-seal as shown in pic below..
and also cover the key head with m-seal
this is the clear stamp am going to use for the impression on the lock.. make impressions before the m-seal gets harden.. place the clear stamp and press gently and lift the stamp we get the impression on lock..
for the key make small coils and balls with m-seal and make impressions with needle on both sides n for the lock sides make impressions with pen.. make  the tortoise head legs and tail  and attach to the lock..
Now coloring time.. i have used pearl metallic colors black and gold ..first color the lock and key with black and then follow up with gold color (just apply strokes of gold color on black so it gets antique look)
Here is my finished Antique lock n key am happy with the outcome :)
 Hope you like it ..
Thanks for stopping by .. have a nice day :)
