cards for the challenges

Hii Friends !! i have been enjoying the holidays with relatives :D so no crafting last week now am back with 2 cards to share with you made for the challenges ..
Here is my first card its for the runway inspiration challenge with mini dress..i bought a sewing machine and i don't have any experience with sewing machine ..have to struggle with it so practiced on it for 2 days exploring it ..for simple basic stitches i have learnt for 2 days and don't know how many days or months or years it take for the perfect stitching .. :) made this mini dress.. you may see my sewing projects also but beginners projects and they may not be so perfect will be trying my best ;)

Coming to the card  i have used watercolor paper and used green and black colors for the background and added silhouette cut from pattern paper and made free hand design side to it with black marker and finally added leaf sequences on it and done with my card :)

Here is my 2nd card its  for the Create something catchy challenges

i have hand drawn the stripes with red and blue color pencils on white card stock  and  cut the shirt and corner ends glued and cut the tie shape from blue card stock and glued it on the card ..

  1. Superb work, Radhika !! Your RIC card is stunning. I love free hand drawing you did there. Such a perfect interpretation of the picture. And the second card is just brillliant. It's amazing how perfectly you made all those stripes!! Love that shirt with the tie ;) And about the stitching, I may not be the best person to comment because I'm not very good at it and can't make what you made here...dress looks perfect :)

  11. Loved the cards Radhika . As a professor in Textiles and clothing I am often amazed at the presentation the students come up with when submitting their projects . And if I had to give marks for creativity and presentation this one would be 10 on 10 without doubt !!!
