                                         QUILLING



Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of  paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quill to create a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip and these shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and various ornamental patterns.
   Now quilling art is used to decorate greeting cards,envelopes and making an art piece ..
   These paper strips are available in many colours and various dimensions..
  Tools for quilling are
 *paper strips of your desired width(1",1/8",1/4",1/2") and colour
 *quilling needle - to roll the paper strip
 *Stencil- holds the shape of paper strip in stencil
 *crimper-it creates a wavy texture on the paper strips
 *quilling comb -for diff.flower shape.(we can use a comb at home even it works better)
 *glue.
